How the Process Works
Solo - Single Photographer: When the stars align, and your wedding is not too hectic and spread out, I can and will capture your whole day myself, photography and Highlight or Featurette video. You get one creative eye and one approach, resulting in a cohesive collection of photographs and a video that feels unmistakably yours.
Duo - Two Photographers: On your wedding day, I take on the role of primary photographer, capturing still photos while also gathering key video moments. Meanwhile, my second photographer focuses more on video. Together, we work seamlessly to create a balanced and comprehensive visual story, coordinating our roles dynamically throughout the day to deliver a complete visual narrative.
Full Length Film Add-On
When short and simple is not your wedding vision
Our full length wedding film is designed for couples who want to experience their day in a richer and more complete way than a highlight film can offer. The highlight film condenses the entire wedding into a polished cinematic retelling that focuses on emotional beats and visual storytelling. The full length film slows the pace and lets you enjoy the important moments as it naturally unfolded.
This 30 to 60 minute edit follows the same cinematic style and pacing as the highlight film, but it gives every major part of the day the time it deserves. You will see full recordings of milestone moments such as your first look, full ceremony, first dances and speeches. These long-form sections are blended with beautifully crafted cinematic footage from throughout the day, creating a complete and immersive viewing experience.
If the highlight film feels like the movie trailer, the full length wedding film feels like the feature presentation. It captures not only the high points, but also the emotions, reactions and real-time memories that make your wedding day unforgettable. This is not your parent's traditional two hour wedding documentary film collecting dust in the basement.

Looking ahead to 2027, we have 16 weddings booked so far, including 13 with videography.

FAQ
What is hybrid photography and videography coverage?
Hybrid coverage means our team documents your wedding through both photography and videography. Instead of hiring a separate photography team and video company, our team provides both forms of coverage throughout the day.
The goal is to give you both a complete collection of photographs and professionally produced video while keeping the experience streamlined and less intrusive.
Solo and Duo?
Each video is labeled Solo or Duo to reflect how the wedding was captured.
Solo films were created entirely by me, handling both photography and videography throughout the wedding day. I can create Highlight (3-6 minutes) and Featurette (9-15 minutes) films while working solo. It’s a more intimate approach, with a single photographer responsible for preserving both the still and moving memories of the day.
Duo films were created with a second photographer alongside me. We divide coverage between us, allowing one of us to remain more focused on photography while the other captures video, as well as giving us the ability to cover different locations, moments, and perspectives simultaneously.
For Full Length Films (30–60 minutes), a second photographer is required. The longer format calls for more extensive and continuous video coverage throughout the day, which requires a second person dedicated to capturing moments that would otherwise be impossible to cover while also photographing.
What are the advantages of hybrid coverage?
The biggest advantage is simplicity and consistency. One team means one timeline, one point of contact, and one creative approach to documenting your wedding. We can plan photo and video coverage together rather than coordinating two independent teams, with two creative inputs.
Your full day photography package will mean full day videography coverage to tell your whole wedding story.
It also gives you a smaller media footprint. Instead of having two photographers plus two or three videographers, hybrid coverage requires fewer people moving around your wedding.
That smaller footprint greatly enables the candid style of our work. Some of the most genuine moments happen when people forget they're being documented. Fewer cameras and people in the room can make it easier for everyone to relax and simply enjoy the day.
There can also be a cost advantage, since you're working with one business and one team rather than paying the duplicated operational overhead of two separate companies and doubling the media team.
Are there any disadvantages to hybrid coverage?
Yes there can be. Hybrid coverage requires us to be intentional about how we divide our attention and position our cameras. No one can be in two places at once, and our team has to balance the needs of both photography and video.
A dedicated videography team can devote all of its attention to cinematography, allowing for more elaborate camera movements, lighting setups, more simultaneous camera angles, and other production elements.
A full videography production team may have a lighting engineer with specific roles to create the most optimal filming environment. Having the smaller team and footprint means we often work with the available natural light or venue and DJ lighting.
What am I missing by booking hybrid coverage instead of separate photo and video teams?
The biggest difference is production scale.
A larger dedicated video team can have more than two cinematographers covering different parts of a room simultaneously. They can dedicate one person to the couple, another to the speaker, another to guest reactions, with others managing additional cameras and lighting.
Hybrid coverage can't completely replicate that level of production. What it offers instead is a smaller, more flexible, and less intrusive approach that prioritizes authentic moments alongside your photography.
Is hybrid coverage right for me?
It ultimately depends on what you value most.
If you want the largest possible video production with multiple dedicated cinematographers, extensive lighting, and numerous simultaneous camera angles, a separate videography team offers capabilities that hybrid coverage cannot completely match.
If you value having beautiful photography and meaningful video while keeping your media team and budget smaller, your timeline more flexible, and the experience more natural, hybrid coverage will be a better fit.
